Unlike other lenders in the crypto space whose loan portfolios were decimated because of term mismatch, our loans are 3-5 year terms and cannot be prepaid until the second year of the loan. Underwriting Guidelines
- Coin value will need to maintain a minimum price per coin for the last 60 days within a margin (to be determined at the time of request)
Supporting Docs needed AFTER LOI is signed
- Proof of coin in the wallet account
- If the entity holds a coin, we need entity documents, a Certificate of Good Standing, and a resolution to enter into a loan agreement for the coin.
- Use of funds for the money – they can only be used to buy coins.
- KYC Form – Attached
- Government-issued ID for the signer.
- Letter of how the coin was obtained.
Basic Term of Loans
- Coin will be used as collateral.
- NO PG
- NO corporate guarantee
- Simple interest of 5-7%
- Payment in IO is paid quarterly.
- Loan amounts $1M to $100M per transaction.
- The typical Term is a 3-year Term with a 2-year Lockout (which means you cannot repay until the lock-up period is over)
- Loan to Value is 40-80%
- LTV is calculated on today’s coin price, multiplied by the number of coins to get value, and then multiplied by LTV for a loan amount.
- The coin is held in the same wallet the borrower uses now, but a different account is opened, and coins are placed in it.
- Foreign Nationals accepted
